The American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb
March 5, 2016 @ 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
The American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb (think vertical road race) is coming up on March 5, 2016 at Chase Tower in downtown Indianapolis and we want you to join us. Participating in the Fight for Air Climb empowers individuals to invest in their own personal health and fitness. You’re not just climbing stairs; you’re fighting for an end to lung disease. Through fundraising, climbers help improve the lives of patients across the country and locally in Indiana. Ninety cents of every dollar raised stays here in Indiana goes directly to education, research and advocacy. The Fight For Air Climb is a challenge of your lungs, your physical stamina and your determination to end lung disease. You climb for those affected by Asthma, from infants to older adults. You climb for those who have been diagnosed with Lung Cancer, which is the leading cancer killer and affects both smokers and non-smokers. You climb for those who suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and struggle to breathe every day of their lives. The climb will take you to the top floor of Indiana’s tallest building, Chase Tower, one step at a time. Floor by floor, you will raise awareness and funds for the fight against breath taking lung diseases. You will climb because you care. We know a lot about lung disease, but there is so much we don’t know. Your participation will raise the funds necessary to provide life-saving education, advocacy and research so we can beat lung disease and soon find a cure. Join us.
